The office
For the past few months I worked in this Dutch Thirties Office Building, which provided for some nice instagram-shots (@GGD, Zwolle)
So cool!
CARDBOARD OFFICE
The Dutch designers Alrik Koudenburg and Joost van Bleiswijk have teamed up and an interior made of cardboard for the advertising agency Nothing in Amsterdam designed. No glue or screws is the Pappinterieur inside the agency offices desks, partitions, shelves, stairs, and even a working level. The basic idea was that the agency called ‘Nothing’ and take up a relatively worthless nothing like the cardboard, useful to create something new.
‘Nothing is about the power of ideas, about how a single idea can transform nothing into something. Using a cheap throw-away material to build a unique and memorable work space, Seemed a good way to materialize this thought. The monumental design language creates an interesting contrast with the most nothing we could find building material … cardboard. We created a modular system with Jost Van Bleiswijk ‘No Screw, No Glue technique’, to build this stand-alone fortress. One can walk around it, over it and work inside of it. ‘
